Our Story
In the fall of 2016, my wife, Tammy, became a Lularoe retailer. She fell in love with the patterns and designs the company has to offer, and decided that it could provide an exciting opportunity to create something for herself; to own a business, without having to start from the ground up. Together we took the plunge-myself as her business partner- investing heavily into stock, decorations, and management tools.
It did not take long for us to fall into despair. The tools available for Lualaroe consultants were outdated and frustrating at best. They did not provide the features that we and other retailers wanted, and instead charged up for services no one asked for. Lularoe is meant to be a business without hassle; we were told that the brand has already been built, all we must do is sell. And yet there we were, spending vast amounts of time posting, invoicing, and struggling to navigate poorly designed websites.
I decided to take the matter into my own hands. As a software developer with over 30 years of experience, I had the knowledge to make a bigger, better, more manageable tool for Lularoe consultants-something that would streamline and automate the business, making it more efficient and all around more enjoyable. I built My Fashion Emporium over the next year, applying everything other tools have to offer while implementing many more services that consultants so desperately need. I am dedicated to listening to my customers and adding features that they want instead of assuming I know what is best.
Retailers; please note that My Fashion Emporium is a very extensive system, and it will take some time to learn. I have created several tutorial videos which should to guide you through features, and a help support center which serves to answer any questions you may have. I monitor the Facebook support group daily, and am happy to answer questions there as well.
