Is your service LLR P&P compliant?

This is a good question. We followed LLR P&P when we created the service so in that regard yes. The two biggest thing to watch out for are that retailers cannot have an on-line store where you accept payments and that all invoicing and payments are ran through Bless. When invoicing from our system all transactions are run through Bless we have just automated it for your convenience.

How do I choose which shipping provider to use?

There are many shipping providers but in our opinion it depends on how many parcels you will be mailing. Since most users will be using USPS for shipping I will focus on that and the providers we support.

Some things to consider are, amount of parcels you will be sending per month, what features the provider has and will you be using any of these features, monthly cost of the service to have these features.

If you are starting out and not shipping more than 50 parcels a month, Shipping Easy is a good start. There free tier allows up to 50 free orders. The next tier starts at 29.95 and have the most features.   You have the ability to send your orders to Shipping Easy but you must use the Shipping Easy dashboard to create your shipping labels.

If shipping less than 300 parcels a month, you might consider using Shippo. They have a flat rate of 5 cents per label + postage.  They only focus on printing lables and only have basic shipping features. You have the ability to create shipping labels from My Fashion Emporium.

Most have heard of Stamps.com and in our opinion is best for most moderate use shippers. They currently charge 15.95 per month+postage.  You have the ability to create shipping labels and buy postage from My Fashion Emporium.

If you know of any other good providers, please let us know and we will check to see if we can add support for them.

Do shoppers need to create an account to claim an item.

If you want the shoppers to have the ability to claim items themselves, then yes. There is no charge for shopper accounts. Shopper accounts allows the shopper to track what items they purchased from whom for easy tracking as well as many other features.

However this is not a requirement, you as a retailer can enter the shopper information manually as well as the items they claimed on their behalf.

What is the inventory audit for?

The inventory audit is used to insure that the inventory in our system matches what you have. This is most useful if you have printed and labeled all your items with bar codes. Then using a barcode scanner to scan your items when doing the audit.

To start or continue an audit, go to the Inventory Menu and select Inventory Audit.

If you are continuing an audit, choose No to reset your Audit Items. All items that have not been audited will be red.

Enter the item id by typing it in or using a bar code scanner. The item will turn green when you have  audited the item. Yellow if you have multiple quantities and not all have been audited yet.

You will get an error sound an a pop-up if you enter an item that has already been audited or the item is no longer found in the system.

When I print my bar code labels they do not line up. Why is this?

First make sure that you set the printer to the following when printing the labels:

  1. Scaling: Off
  2. Media: Plain Paper
  3. Print Quality: Normal
  4. Paper Size: Letter (8 1/2 X 11in)
  5. Color Mode: Natural
  6. Orientation: Portrait

This normally happens if the printer has a problem grabbing the slick label paper. Try printing the bar codes on a blank piece of paper and see of they line up properly when held in front of a sheet of labels against the light. If they do then this is the issue. If your printer has a manual feed option, use that and that should resolve the issue. Another option is to tape a piece of regular paper to the back of the label sheet so the printer can grab the sheet better.

Attached are templates you can print to check alignment of your labels so that you do not waste your lables.

  • Avery 5163 standard 2X4 labels
  • Avery 8660 standard 1X2 5/8 labels

What is the pest picture format to use?

  Most people use png or jpg file formats for their images. Both are good but we recommend using png format especially if you plan on uploading your items to Facebook parties. PNG files uses lossless compression for no image degradation while JPG format uses "lossy" compression to reduce the size of an image by using a formula to determine what data to discard.

When uploading images to our system and Facebook the images are scaled down to a size that is more suitable for web site usage. This saves disk space as well as increases the load times so that users do not have to wait for large images files to be loaded just to be scalled down anyway to a display size for a page. Image scaling will always cause some image degradation and is why we do some post processing to clean up the image.  Facebook does the same thing when you upload images to their site so if your uploaded image has been compressed already, then the image on Facebook may end up being of poor quality.

With PNG files the degradation is a lot less since there is more data to work with from the beginning where jpg files typically by default save the image at 90% quality which already degrades the image as soon as you save it. If you are using JPG image files, be sure to save the image at 100% quality their by reducing the degradation when an image is scaled to size

When uploading photos to Facebook, we recommend at least browsing over new images to insure that your photos are good quality and your customers can see good details of the items patterns.

What barcode scanner do you recommend?

Any barcode scanner that supports Code 128 will work which is must of them and must work as a virtual keyboard input (HID Capable).

You can purchase barcode scanners for as low as 15.00 dollars for a wired scanner but we recommend to get a wireless scanner.

The NADAMOO B01GDJ2BH6 is a good choice for PC and Android. For devices that only have micro USB such as phones you will need a micro USB to USB adapter to connect the USB Receiver.

If you will be using the scanner on a mobile device such as an IPad or IPhone then a Bluetooth scanner may be more appropriate such as the NADAMOO B06ZYHPYMV.

I am not seeing all the styles when I go to add my inventory.

When you add inventory only the current primary styles are listed. We do this to keep the selection list down. For example, if we listed everything LLR has there would be close to 200 styles you would constantly sift through.

What you will need to do is add the style by using the Style Manager. You can then link that style to the actual LLR style where you will get a listing of all the styles that LLR has. You only need to link the style if you are planning to use the Bless Transfer option to send your invoices to Bless.

Can I limit the number of items that are added to each album in a party?

This depends, for Facebook VIP and Facebook this can always be done when you add your items. You simply select the number of random items you wish to add from the Number To Post Column when adding by Style or Style and Size.

If you have subscribed to the Professional Package, then you can also do the same for My Fashion Emporium parties. One thing to note is that if this is a Multi-Retailer parties, the party owner may have already set limits to the number of items that can be added.

For Basic Package users, you will have to do this manually by keeping track of how many items you have added per style.

I am having issues viewing live streaming video.

You may have issues viewing live videos if you have an older browser. To view live videos your browser must support HTML5 which main stream browser currently support.

With support for flash dwindling, MFE employs two different streaming technologies. We use WebRTC and HLS. WebRTC is the new and upcoming streaming for live and delays are very minimal where HLS has a typical delay of about 6 seconds but could be more depending if you are using a poor network connection.

If the retailer is using our web broadcasting page, WebRTC will be used with HLS as a fallback for browsers that do not support WebRTC. If the retailer uses a flash based broadcasting application, then only HLS will be available.

Unfortunately depending on the device and browser combination you are using you will get various results. Below are some suggestion and recommendations.

  1. For Windows desktop computers, both Chrome and Firefox will work with no problems and both WebRTC and HLS fallback is supported. IE does not support WebRTC and will fall back to HLS.
  2. On IOS devices it is recommended to use the Safari browser for live broadcast as this browser supports WebRTC as of IOS 11. You can use Chrome but currently WebRTC is not supported in Chrome for IOS. The Chrome browser will fall back to use HLS.
  3. On Android devices, Chrome and Firefox support WebRTC. However Chrome may have issues with HLS on some versions of Android in which case you may want to use Firefox instead.

How do shoppers claim items and how are sales entries entered?

When a shopper wishes to purchase an item, they would comment sold in the comments. If they commented sold and then wish to pass they should comment pass. This lets other shoppers know that the item is available. If someone has already commented sold and someone else wants it too, they can comment sold next. This lets you know that if the person that commented sold ends up passing it would go to the next shopper that commented sold next

 Our system will check the party and scan for sold, pass, and sold next comments. If one of these key words are found our system will do the following:

  1. If a sold comment is found, and you had entered a response message, a reply is sent to the sold comment. No sale is generated at this time. Typically you would include a claim link in the response that the shopper would use to claim the item.
  2. If a sold comment is found, and the response message was blank, a pending sale is generated.
  3. If a sold comment is found, and someone had already claimed the item, the shopper will be placed in the sold next queue
  4. If a sold next comment is found, and someone had already claimed the item, the shopper will be placed in the sold next queue
  5. If a sold comment is found and the comment also contains "Question" such as "sold pending question", the system ignores this.
  6. If a pass comment is found, the sale is canceled for that item and put back in stock. If there was a claim next for the item then the a sale is generated for the next person in line.
  7. When the party has ended, the system will do a final check and create sales entries for all items that were sold but have not been claimed using a claim link.

I got a notification that Facebook has temporarily blocked my uploads, what does that mean?

 Although we attempt to pace your uploads to avoid this we cannot guarantee that this will not happen to you. Facebook does not just look at what you are uploading just from us but from everyone including yourself. Unfortunately Facebook does not share any information that triggers this action so all we can do is adjust your upload speed based on the amount of items you are uploading to a given party.

Some things you can do to help avoid this:

  • If you have a large inventory , stagger your uploads by scheduling 2 parties with different upload times.
  • Use the random items feature when you select your albums and not upload everything.
  • Avoid uploading to multiple Facebook Parties at the same time.
  • Avoid uploading to more than two or three parties per day.
  • Deleting Photos counts against your quota. Deleting a Facebook Party starts the process of deleting your items from Facebook. If this is a VIP Party , delete the Albums from Facebook before you delete the party in Roe Emporium. Delete the party during times you are not uploading anything that day.
  • Use a Roe Emporium party instead of posting all your items on Facebook. Simply share the link to the party on Facebook.

How do shoppers claim items on Facebook?

Shoppers will need to comment on the item they wish to claim by commenting "sold" or "mine" or the custom sold comment that you may have entered when you created the party. If the system sees one of these statements in the comments, the system will automatically generate a pending sale in the system which you can see under the pending sales.

If one shopper has already claimed the items and another shopper also comments sold or sold next, that shopper will be placed in the sold next queue. Should the first shopper pass, then the item will be automatically assigned to the next person in line.

If a shopper decides that they do not want the item that they commented sold on, they can add another comment "Pass", when the system sees this, the system will cancel the pending sale for that item and make it available again to be claimed except in he case where another shopper also claimed the item in which case the item will be automatically assigned to the next shopper in the sold next queue.

NOTE: We can only link Facebook Users to our system if the user has our app installed on their account.

      7. When the export is complete the system will send you a notification.
      8. Go to the Notification Page and you will see the message indicating that the export is complete, click on the link provided to download your images.

      3. When the album cover is loaded, In the description put the Style or Style and Size that will be placed in the album.
      4. Click the Post button to create the album.
      5. Repeat 1-4 until all your albums have been added.
    3. Click on the first album you want to load.
    4. Click the Add Photos/Video button.
    5. In the file select dialog box go to the folder that contains the style or style and size for the album you just selected.

Holding the CTRL key and clicking on the files allows selection of individual images. When done selecting click the open/done button.
    7. Once all your images are loaded, click the Post Button to add them to the album.

NOTES:

  1. Be careful that you do not load to fast if you have a large inventory as this can get you thrown in Facebook Jail.
  2. When uploading manually, MFE will not be able to automatically scan the items for you and you will have to monitor and add your sales manually to MFE.
  3. MFE Will not be able to remove your images from the albums and will have to be done manually.

Uploading images To My Fashion Emporium using our API

You can use the following API commands to upload images directly in to My Fashion Emporium. In order to use the API, you must request a application Key by sending your request to support@myfashionemporium.com

  • Our system uses OAuth2 implicit authorization for user grants.  To request a user access token, send the request to https://www.myfashionemporium.com/api/authorize.php?response_type=token&client_id=<client_id>&state=<session_id>
  • Access Tokens are valid for 30 days at which time the user will have to authenticate again. If the API returns a HTPP status of 401 Unauthorized, you must send a new authorization request. JSON success will be false and  error will be invalid_token as well.
  • All commands are post commands and are sent to https://www.myfashionemporium.com/api/remoteadd.php

All commands require the following two fields:

  1. access_token: This is the Access Token that was returned in the users authorization request.
  2. action: This is the action that is being requested. Valid actions are getStyles, getSizes, and addItem.

When the action is addItem to upload an item image, the following additional fields are also required:

  1. styleID: This is the selected style id. This id is the value field when you retrieve the styles using the getStyles action.
  2. sizeID: This is the selected size id. This id is the value field when you retrieve the sizes using the getSizes action.
  3. qty: This is an optional field and defaults to 1. If you choose to use this field, use this to specify the available quantity of the item being uploaded.
  4. imageName: The file name of the image being uploaded.
  5. imageData: This is the image and must be in the base64 encoded URI scheme. See here for details. The system expects the string to be formatted as  data:<image mime type>;base64,<base64 encoded image data>.

Action responses from the server are return using a JSON object with the following fields. If an error occurs the server will also have a HTTP status code 400 (Bad Request)

  1. success : This will be true or false depending if the request was successful or not.
  2. data: This will contain the requested data if result is true. Will not be present if success is false.
  3. error: This is the generic error label. Will not be present if success is true.
  4. error_description: This is the verbose error description. Will not be present if success is true

My Fashion Emporium supports multiple clothing lines so the styles and sizes will not always be the same and our users have the ability to create their own styles and sizes as they see fit. Due to this you will need to retrieve the styles and sizes from our system before you make them available for selection by your users.

To get a list of styles using Java Script and jquery:

Ajax command:
$.ajax({
      url: 'https://www.myfashionemporium.com/api/remoteadd.php',
     data:  {
          access_token: "4a64ef8bed8cdc1110ff5cwz398a6c67",
          action: "getStyles"
     }
     dataType: "json",
     type: 'POST',
     success: function(rsp){
          if (rsp.success  == false){
              console.log('Request Error: '+rsp.error_description);
          }else{
               console.log(rsp.data);
          }
     }
});

Response in JSON:
{
      "success ":true,
      "data":[
             {"name":"Adeline","value":"1"},
             {"name":"Album Test","value":"201"},
             {"name":"Amelia","value":"2"}
              ....
      ]
}

Name contains the style name and value contains the styleID that is passed when using the addItem action.

To get a list of sizes using Java Script and jquery:

Ajax command:
$.ajax({
      url: 'https://www.myfashionemporium.com/api/remoteadd.php',
     data:  {
          access_token: "4a64ef8bed8cdc1110ff5cwz398a6c67",
          action: "getSizes"
     }
     dataType: "json",
     type: 'POST',
     success: function(rsp){
          if (rsp.success == false){
              console.log('Request Error: '+rsp.error_description);
          }else{
               console.log(rsp.data);
          }
     }
});

Response in JSON:
{
      "success ":true,
      "data":[
             {"name":"XXS","value":"2"},
             {"name":"XS","value":"3"},
             {"name":"S":"4"},
              ....
      ]
}

Name contains the size name and value contains the sizeID that is passed when using the addItem action.

To upload an image using Java Script and jquery:

Ajax command:
toDataURL('http://www.somserver.com/item_2564.JPG', function(imageDataUrl) {
      $.ajax({
           url: 'https://www.myfashionemporium.com/api/remoteadd.php',
           data:  {
                access_token: "4a64ef8bed8cdc1110ff5cwz398a6c67",
                action: "getSizes",
                styleID: 1,
                sizeID: 6,
                imageName: "item_2564.JPG",
                imageData: imageDataUrl
           }
           dataType: "json",
           type: 'POST',
           success: function(rsp){
                if (rsp.success == false){
                    console.log('Request Error: '+rsp.error_description);
                }else{
                    console.log(rsp.data);
                }
           }
      });
});

Response in JSON:
{
      "success ":true,
      "data": 1254
}

Data returns the newly created item ID.

Below is the toDataURL function that is used in the above example to load an image to a base64 encoded format.  You may need to create a function to load the image if the image is on the local device and not a http server.

function toDataURL(url, callback) {
      var xhr = new XMLHttpRequest();
      xhr.onload = function() {
            var reader = new FileReader();
            reader.onloadend = function() {
                  callback(reader.result);
            }
            reader.readAsDataURL(xhr.response);
      };
      xhr.open('GET', url);
      xhr.responseType = 'blob';
      xhr.send();
}

Add Inventory Items To Party

This page allows you to add your itemsthat you have listed to your selected party. When the page loads, the server will attempt to determine what add type is being used and will set the fields accordingly. There are three types of add types and the are as follows:

  1. Add By Style: Used in Facebook Parties. This type is used if the albums on Facebook will be sorted by Style. Mining that all sizes for a particular style will be placed in the same album. Typically this is used for a VIP Facebook Sale.
  2. Add By Style & Size: This type is used if the albums on Facebook will be sorted by Style & Size. Mining that all items will be placed in albums according to style and size. This is typically used in a Multi-Consultant Facebook Sale.
  3. Add By Item: This is the only add type that is available for Roe Emporium Link Parties but is also available for Facebook Parties. You use this option to select individual items to be posted to a party.

If an item has been added to the party and you attempt to add it again, the system will see it is already there and will not add it again. This means that it is safe for you to do multiple adds without having to worry if an item has been added already and creating duplicate entries.

Sold Comment Response Message:

You have the option to automatically send a response comment wha one of the sold triggers is detected by the system. This allows you to send instructions to the person that claimed the item or to let them know that they got the item.

You have the option to use block/replacement tags to make your message more personal. You can view the tags and what they do by clicking on the Message Replacement Tag Help link under the Sold Comment Message box.

When you add a new Sold Comment Response Message, the system will added it to the Recent Sold Comment Response Messages. This makes it easier for you to use previous messages again. All you have to do is find the response message in the list and click the copy icon to copy it to your active message.

Add By Style:

In this add type, a list of the styles you have available will be displayed. If there are albums already loaded to your group on Facebook, the system will attempt to match your styles with the album styles found in the group. Styles in green indicate a match. Styles in red indicates that a match could not be found and you should select the Facebook album manually.

If you want to post all your items leave the Number To Post at Post All Items. If you have hundreds of items in each style, you have the option to post items randomly from your styles by changing the Number To Post to the random number you wish to post.

If this is a Facebook VIP sale, you have an additional option on the Facebook Album dropdown, this is CREATE ALBUM. This will create an album for this style on Facebook before posting your items to this album. This will use the default system album cover for the style.

Once you have matched all your styles with the Facebook album styles, click the Add items To Party button to add your items to the party.

Add By Style & Size:

In this add type, a list of the styles/sizes you have available will be displayed. Once you have matched all your style/size with the Facebook album style/size, click the Add items To Party button to add your items to the party.

Add By Item:

This is the add type for My Fashion Emporium Link Parties. If this is a Facebook Party, there is an extra field to select the Facebook album to add the selected items too. In this case you would use both Add By Style and Add By Style/Size. To add your items in this case, do the following:

Live Broadcasting Page

To access this page, go to the Party Manager, click the menu for the party and then select the Go Live option.

This page has multiple uses and depending on how you will be broadcasting your live video will depend on how you will use this page. My Fashion Emporium employs two different types of streaming servers. One is Web RTC and the other is for RMTP (Flash) to HLS.

If your browser supports Web RTC you will want to use this as it will give you near real-time broadcasting. Web RTC streams will be converted to HLS for browser that do not support Web RTC. HLS has a typical delay of about 6 seconds but could be more if your internet connection is poor. Our HLS server supports adaptive bitrate streaming based on internet speed allowing your viewers to view your live stream without interruption due to buffering.

 If your browser supports Web RTC, click allow if prompted to allow access to your camera and mic. If you do not allow access to the camera and mic the page will be put in remote mode.

If your browser does not support Web RTC or you do not have a camera and a mic on the computer the page will also be put in to remote mode.

The page will also be put in remote mode if a live broadcast is started from another computer or using broadcastings software such as OBS. You will be able to see the remote video once the remote broadcast starts. However overlays will be disabled when using remote mode.

While broadcasting you have the option of entering the item number of the item being shown. This will display the item information to the shoppers and the shopper only has to click the claim button. If you choose not to use this feature the shopper will need to enter the item number and click the claim button.

You also have the option to enter items in to the database on the fly such as during an open box event. Just hold the item in front of the camera and click the capture button. Then set the item style and size. Once you hit OK the item will added to the database and then will be displayed to the shoppers as above. Using this feature will be easier when having a helper available to do the capture and entering the item information for you.

Using the capture or entering the item number will also overlay the item information on the video as well if the Show  Overlay is checked. You can choose what color you want the overlay to be by click on the overlay color. The overlay is only available when broadcasting using the broadcasting page.

To start broadcasting using our broadcasting page:

  1. Select your Video source, normally this will already have been populated. For device such as the IPad where there is a front and back facing cameras, be sure to select the correct camera you will be using.
  2. Select your microphone, normally this will be your default microphone.
  3. Click the Go Live button. Your video will appear when te stream has started. Click the Stop Button to stop end the broadcast.

 If you are using an external program such as OBS, click the button that starts the streaming and stop streaming buttons that are associated with the application you are using. Once the stream has started to broadcast, the video will appear also on the MFE Broadcast page.

Below is a list of event statuses that are available during an event:

  • When the broadcast starts the Broadcast Time shows how long you have been broadcastings.
  • The Showing Item is the current item number that is being shown to the viewers. This works in conjunction with the Update Display Item and Capture & Add Item feature.
  • Watchers are the number of people currently watching your live stream.
  • Claims shows the number of items that have been claimed so far during your event.
  • Tatal Sales shows the number total sales amount that has been made so far during your event

Next Item ID: If you so choose, use this option to enter the item id of the item you are about to display. Once entered click the Update Display Item to update your watchers with the item information. This shows all the pertinent information of the item such as Style, Size, Cost, Qty, and any Description you may have entered. This also will allow your viewers to simply click the Claim Button for the shown item to claim it. No need to for the watchers to memorize item numbers or write them down.

Capture & Add Item: Use this feature to automatically add items to your inventory with an image to identify the item later. Simply hold the item in rot of the camera, click the Capture & Add Item button. A item dialog will appear with the captured image, select the item style & size and click OK. The item information will be sent to your watcher the same as the above option.

You have the ability to post responses to comments as well as read comments being posted by your watchers.

All broadcasts are recorded. Once the broadcast has ended, the system will create a playback video.

  1. The playback video can be viewed until the party end time has been reached.
  2. If you used the Display Item ID or the Capture Item options, the items will be displayed at the same times as the original broadcast allowing the watcher to simply click the Claim Button. If you did not uses this feature the watcher will need to enter the item number and click the Claim Button.

Send SMS Message

The Send SMS page allows you to send SMS Text messages to your customers that have SMS Enabled and have added you to their Favorites list or have signed up for your SMS Text Messages.

To send a text message:

  1. Enter a name in the Message ID to identify this text message.
  2. Select the date and time you wish to have the system start sending your SMS Messages.
  3. Select the Time Zone that this start time represents. Typically this will be your current time zone and should already be selected.
  4. You can also send an optional image with your text message by clicking the Optional Image button.
  5. Enter the message you wish to send.
  6. Click the Send Button to schedule the SMS Message for delivery.

NOTE:

  1. SMS text messaging feature is not available in the Bronze Package and limited messages are available for Silver and Gold but the option can be purchased to increase that limit.
  2. SMS Sending has a max rate of 1 message per second so your message will be queued in first in first out order.
  3. SMS Messages are split in to multiple messages every 160 characters, this is a limitation of the SMS protocol. Each message being sent will be added to your monthly total allowance. This means if you are sending a text message 165 characters in length to 100 people, your message count will be 200 for the 100 people because 2 SMS messages have to be sent since your message exceeded the 160 character limit. There is an indicator on the SMS Message page that will tell you the how many SMS Message will need to be sent for your message.
  4. If you include a image with your SMS Message, you will be charged an additional 2 SMS messages per SMS Message sent. This means that if you send a message that less than 160 characters that would normally be 1 SMS message count per SMS Sent against your monthly usage it would be 3 per message sent that would count against your monthly usage.

SMS Manager

Use the SMS Manger to view, edit, add, and import SMS recipients as well as view the status of your SMS Messages.

Subscriptions:

Adding: To add a new entry click the Add Number button. Be sure you have been given permission from the mobile user to add their number and that you have verified that the number belongs to the intended subscriber. Sending unsolicited SMS messages can get you a bad reputation.

Editing: You can only edit First/Last names of non-favorite entries. You can only edit the mobile numbers of manual and imported entries.

Deleting: You can only delete entries that are not added by favorites.

Importing SMS Numbers: You can import a list of numbers using a csv file.

  • The import file must have at least one column that contains the mobile number with an option of one to two more columns that contains full name or first and last name. The order of the 1-3 colums does not matter as you will tell the system what is in each of the first 3 columns when you do the import.
  • You may need to open the file in Excel to change the columns around so that the mobile number and the optional names are located within the first three columns .
  • If you have xls file, you will need to open the file using excel and then save it as a csv file.

When you are ready to import your file, click the Import button on the bottom left of the SMS Manager.

  1. For each of the 3 column drop downs, choose what is in that column. At a minimum the first column has to contain the mobile number if the other columns are not used.
  2. Click the browse button to select the file you wish to import.
  3. If the first row of your input file contains the column names then the First Line Contains Header must be checked.
  4. Click import to start the import.

This system will validate all your data before importing and if an error occurs, you will be notified what row and column. You will need to fix the error prior to trying the import again.

Be sure to verify your imported data to insure the data imported correctly and fix any issues before you start sending SMS messages.

Scheduled SMS Messages:

In this section you will find all your scheduled SMS Messages and their status.

  • Schedule Name: This is the Message ID that was entered when the SMS was created.
  • Send At: This is the schedule time the message will start sending the SMS messages. This time is shown in your local time zone.
  • Sent Status: If the SMS message has been sent and the date/time it completed sending all the SMS messages.
  • Msgs. Sent: This is the number of SMS destination that the SMS messages was delivered to.
  • Action: The action menu allows you two options, Edit and Delete the selected SMS Message.

Use the New SMS Message button to create a new SMS Text Message

Live Response Message

If you are doing live sales and you are having MFE monitor for your sold comments, the system can automatically send response messages to your live feed when one of the following events happen.

Note that response messages can only be sent from live streams from your business page and not live streams from your group. Facebook no longer allows posting to comments in group live streams..

  • Sold Response Message: Sent when one of the Sold Comment triggers was detected.
  • Sold Next Response Message: This is sent when a sold comment trigger was detected but item is out of stock and the shopper was placed in the Sold Next queue.
  • Pass Response Message: This is sent when a pass comment was detected on an item that the shopper previously commented sold on.
  • Item Number Not Found Response Message: This is set when a sold comment was detected but the item number that was entered was not a valid claim item number.

You do not have to send response by leaving these blank but it is highly recommended that you fill these out so that your shoppers know the status of their claims.

When you do add a response, at a minimum you will need to use two of the replacement tags and these are {userName} which is replaced by the name of the commenting user and {itemNum} which is replaced by the item number that they are interested in.

There are more replacement tags so have a look at the replacement tags and the block tags. These can be found under the Message Formatting Help link below the response message box.

  The replacement tags allow you to add tags to the message that the system will replace with specific information. For example if you add the tag {style} to the message the system would replace this with Cassie if that is the style of the item that was commented on.

  The block tags allow you to have different messages based on the shopper status (new to our system, on our system but new customer for you, or a retuning customer). For example you can have a New User block that contains information to a new My Fashion Emporium user on how to  sign up and include the {signupurl} but have a different message for a returning customer thanking them for their loyalty.

Below is an example response message:

{firstName},
{newUserBlock}
    {userName} you have claimed {item} for {price}. Please go here {signupurl} to signup. Please sign up using Facebook so that your item is automatically linked to you.
{newUserBlockEnd}
{newCustomerBlock}
  {userName} you have claimed {item} for {price}, thank you for shopping with us..
{newCustomerBlockEnd}
{returnCustomerBlock}
    Thank you for being a loyal customer! You have claimed Item# {itemNum} {item} for {price}
{returnCustomerBlockEnd}

Shipping is 3.00 for the first item and 4.00 for two items. Free shipping on order over 100.00

Bookkeeping

Unlike other systems that may have something very basic to add your expenses, they are by far not practical for bookkeeping use. In our system you can categorize your expenses so you know exactly what you are spending in each category. You can view profit & loss reports as well as balance sheets.

 On the main page you will see a list of your chart of accounts.  Each of the items in the list are one of the 11 major account types. Asset Accounts, Bank Accounts, Loans, and Credit Card Accounts will have balances. Income and Expenses will not have totals and will need to select view from the menu to view the report for the selected expense or income. Inventory, Undeposited Funds, and Sales Tax are internal accounts. The Inventory account will be calculated from your current items in the system. Undeposited funds are items you have sold but have not deposited in to a bank account.

This system will automatically create several chart of accounts for you that you should have for your business. A liability account will be setup for Sales Tax tracking as well if you are a non LLR retailer and you add a Sales Tax amount in the Merchant Settings. You can add additional accounts as you see fit by clinking on the Account Menu and selecting New Account. This will display the New Account Dialog then do the following:

  1. Select the account type.
  2. Enter an account name such as your bank name.
  3. Optionally you can check the sub account check box and choose the Root Account to keep all your accounts grouped together.
  4. Optionally you can also add a description.
  5. Click the Submit button to save the new account

Some suggestion for additional accounts would be:

  1. Business Loans
  2. Business Credit Cards

If you're a LLR reseller the system has created an account for the LLR credit card for you.

 On the main menu you have the following:

  1. Account:
    • New Account: Use this option to create new account in the registry.
    • Show Inactive Account: This will show all chart of account including the accounts you have hidden.
  2. Activities:
    • Write Checks: Use this option to add items you have purchased to your accounts.
    • Make Deposit: Use this option to add a deposit to an account. If you have sales that have not been deposited yet, a pop-up dialog will show a list of sales to select from to add to the selected account.
    • Enter Credit Card Charges: Use this option to enter credit card charge or payments.
    • Transfer Funds: This option allows you to transfer funds from one account to another in one step.
  3. Reports:
    • Profit & Loss: This sub-menu gives you a list of profit & loss reports that you can run.
    • Balance Sheet: This sub-menu gives you a list of balance sheet reports that you can run.
  4. Lists:
    • Vendors: This is a list of Vendors you have done business with. You can add new vendors here or they can be added when you write checks or credit card charges.

Action Menu:  The following menu options are available. Note that not all options may be available for all accounts.

  1. View:
    • For income and expense accounts this will display a report of the selected account. If the selected account is the root account, the report will show the totals od all accounts below the selected root.
    • For any other account, this will display the account register.
  2. Edit: This allows you to edit the account information. Note that this option is available for accounts that you have created or the system has created for you.
  3. Delete: This allows you to delete the selected account. Note that this option is available for accounts that you have created or the system has created for you. This cannot be undone.
  4. Make Inactive: Use this option instead of deleting the account. This will hide the selected account from your list.
  5. Make Active: Use this option to make the selected account visible again in your list. You will need to go to the Account Menu and choose the Show Inactive Accounts so that the hidden accounts are shown.

Note: Additional help is available for the various pop-ups. Click the help icon when the pop-up is shown to get help with that pop-up.
